Last year, I went to a cute coastal town in New South Wales with some friends. We spent a couple of nights there, experiencing small town life for a weekend.
❤️ Little things I remember:
Listening the the Hamilton soundtrack with my friend on the drive there
Going out to a restaurant that closed early by Australian standards (8:30pm!)
🤍 What I enjoyed:
Walking on the beach in the early morning. Because it’s not a busy town, the beach is quiet and peaceful.
Eating pizza with my besties.
🧡 Would I recommend Yamba?
Absolutely! Yamba is a 4 hour drive from Brisbane which really isn’t too far. It’s not one of the most popular tourist destinations, though a lot of Australians pass through on their road trips and caravan adventures. The beaches are much quieter than the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, yet they are just as beautiful! There are many high-quality restaurants and cafes but it’s important to keep in mind that they close early!
